Lunch and Love with the Lions

We ventured to the zoo last weekend. We have only been one other time, we took Emerson right after Wyatt was born. It seems like yesterday. We took one of my favorite pictures that day about 2 years ago:

Fast forward 2 years and Emerson and Wyatt had lunch with the lions:

Then the lions decided they uh, hum "loved each other a lot." Luckily we got through that without too many questions. They are really beautiful creatures.

And believe it or not (ok, it's not that hard to believe), the 4-D Dora Diego adventure was the highlight of the day!

One of our many blessings...

is Kayti. She's been with us for almost two years now and I don't know what we would do without her. She has taught me so many things about so many things, and she is part of our family. You don't see her often in the pictures because she's usually the one taking them! She really is one of the many blessings we have in our life. And did I mention she loves on ALL children, regardless of who they belong to? She is truly gifted at what she does, and is always willing to help out. Tiffany's children happen to adore as well, and when they visited last weekend, she took them to a farm close-by and of course they had a blast.
